Here is what you can look forward to on your first Sunday with us.

1 Arrive & Connect
Come a few minutes early. Our greeters will welcome you, help you find a seat, and answer any questions.

2 Worship & Message
Enjoy about 20 minutes of music followed by a practical, Bible-based message. The service lasts roughly 75 minutes.

3 Stay & Chat
Stick around after the service for coffee and conversation. It is the best way to get to know people and learn about ways to get connected.

What to Expect

Whether you're exploring faith, returning to church, or looking for a place to call home, we'd love to welcome you to Lighthouse Community Church.

Our service typically runs for 65–75 minutes and includes the following elements:

To worship is to “give worth to” God. When we sing together, we’re joining Christians throughout history and across the globe in proclaiming who God is, and remembering who we are because of His love.

We devote a portion of our time together to read the Scriptures (Bible) and receive a teaching meant to encourage, equip, and invite us into reimagining our lives in light of the story of God and the way of Jesus.

Each week during the service we are invited into a guided time of prayer where we pause to recentre our scattered senses upon the presence of God. Toward the end of the service we also frequently have a trusted team available to pray for anyone who would like to receive prayer.

On the first Sunday of every month we celebrate the sacrament of communion together. Those who profess faith in Jesus are invited to take the bread and the cup by which we remember Jesus’ life, His death on the cross for our sins, and His resurrection that brings new life—and we believe Jesus meets us in this moment to strengthen our faith and draw us closer to Him and to one another.

We call this “the 2nd part of our service” where we enjoy connecting with each other over some good coffee and snacks—a great time to meet new people and foster a sense of community.

Started in 2000 by a small group of friends, Lighthouse Community Church uniquely emphasized the importance of relationship in a person’s journey of faith – not only relationship with God, but relationship with others.
